        Proiectul cultural Europe’s Times and Unknown Waters apare deocamdată doar pe internet. Dacă doriţi totuşi să printaţi materialele, o puteţi face atât individual(în cazul în care vă interesează numai un anumit subiect discutat de noi), dând copy-paste în Word, sau, dacă doriţi întreaga colecţie de texte şi imagini puteţi downloada pdf-ul complet al numărului[INSERT LINK SPRE PDF]. Europe’s Times and Unknown Waters este o revistă independentă care publică texte din domeniile: poezie, proză, filsofie, metal(de preferinţă încadrabil între gothic-doom şi black, dar, dacă sunt originale sau foarte bine scrise, se acceptă şi materiale din alte ramuri ale metalului şi rockului), studii irlandeze, Scandinavia, critică de film, imagini, societate, critică literară, istorie, scriitori clujeni, teatru şi regie, tehnologie şi science fiction. Nu se refuză nici contribuţii originale şi interesante din alte domenii apropiate - oricare ar fi ele.
        Pentru autori:
        Dacă doriţi să vă publicaţi materiale în revista noastră, propunerile de texte se fac prin e-mail , de preferinţă pe adresa redactorului-şef(vader_wings2000@yahoo.com sau ormenyfrancisc@yahoo.com )sau pe adresa oricărui alt redactor.
        În legătură cu problemele legate de funcţionarea site-ului (dacă aveţi probleme cu deschiderea paginii sau cu diacriticile sau cu orice altceva); cu sugestii de webdesign; sau dacă aveţi propuneri de colaborare a site-ului nostru cu alte site-uri (promovare reciprocă de bannere) sau alte tipuri de colaborări - pentru toate acesatea vă rugăm să-l contactaţi direct pe webdesignerul nostru- Ştefan-Matyus Ernest, pe adresa ernest.stefan.matyus@gmail.com.
        Teoretic nu există limită de pagini la materiale(acesta e şi unul din marile avantaje ale unei reviste pe internet în raport cu una pe hârtie), dar preferăm materiale nu mai scurte de o pagină-jumate - două pagini şi nu mai lungi de 30 de pagini. Desigur, calitatea sau ineditul stringent al unor materiale pot oricând determina excepţii(astfel încât să publicăm texte sub o pagină ori peste 30 de pagini).
        E de preferat să trimiteţi textele fără note de subsol - să plasaţi în plin text un număr/o cifră între paranteze pătrate, în locul numărului notei de subsol, iar textul respectivei note de subsol(înlocuită de dumneavoastră cu o cifră în paranteză pătrată) să apară, însoţit de cifra respectivă, la finalul textului, alături de bibliografie. Daca vi se pare totusi prea complicate, operatiunea trimiteti textul assa cum il aveti si ne ocupam noi de adaptarea lui.
         De asemenea, este obligatoriu ca textele în română să conţină diacritice.
         Textele propuse spre publicare vor fi analizate independent de toţi redactorii revistei. Fiecare redactor va da o notă de la 1 la 10. Nota finală a textului este media aritmetică a notelor redactorilor, nota fiecărui redactor având aceeaşi pondere. Nota minimă pe care un text trebuie să o obţină pentru a fi publicat este 7,50. Nu contează dacă un redactor dă nota 1 iar altul 10, dacă nota finală este de măcar 7,50, textul intră.
        Toate materialele trimise pentru publicare vor primi în mod obligatoriu răspuns(afirmativ sau negativ) - răspuns însoţit de explicaţia pentru care nu intră(în cazul textelor respinse) sau de confirmarea că va fi publicat(în cazul celor acceptate). Decizia privind publicarea/respingerea textului va fi comunicată autorului prin e-mail în cel mai scurt timp posibil.
        Eventualele greşeli de ortografie/tehnoredactare/exprimare din textele aprobate spre publicare vor fi corectate de comun acord cu autorii, pentru a evita situaţiile în care acestea sunt figuri de stil deghizate, sau mesaje subliminale, sau mai ştiu eu ce - context în care, o corectură le-ar putea distruge.
        Din motive de profesionalism dar şi pentru o mai bună colaborare şi cunoaştere reciprocă, autorii sunt rugaţi să ataşeze alături de textul pe care vor să-l publice şi un curriculum vitae (sau măcar un set elementar de date personale, ca de exemplu vârstă, locaţie, studii, alte materiale publicate şi o poză).
        Autorii pot opta pentru semnarea materialelor lor atât cu numele real cât şi cu pseudonim.
        La cererea autorilor, putem publica alături de textul lor şi un mic set de informaţii personale(de exemplu - adresa de e-mail, în cazul în care ace;tia doresc să fie contaczaţi de cei care le lecturează materialele)
         Textele se publică în secţiunea în care se încadrează după conţinutul lor, indiferent de limba în care sunt scrise. Nu am considerat că are rost să grupăm materialele în funcţie de limba în care sunt scrise, în secţiuni pe limbi - de genul English(care să cuprindă toate textele scrise în limba engleză, indiferent de rubrica la care s-ar fi încadrat în mod normal, după conţinutul lor).
        Pe lângă textele în română şi engleză, mai acceptăm şi texte în franceză şi germană - dar cu menţiunea pentru autorii lor că va dura mult mai mult decât în mod obişnuit jurizarea lor (trebuind să apelăm în acest scop şi la specialişti din afara revistei pentru o evaluare adecvată a acestora)
        Acceptăm de asemenea texte în orice altă limbă decât cele menţionate mai sus, dar cu condiţia obligatorie că ele să beneficieze(să fie însoţite) şi de o traducere simultană în română sau engleză, alături de o declaraţie pe proprie răspundere a autorului că textul respectiv şi traducerea lui în română/engleză sunt unul şi acelaşi material.
        Pentru cititori:
        Dacă doriţi să deveniţi colaboratori permanenţi sau redactori ai revistei noastre, vă rugăm frumos să ne anunţaţi prin e-mail.         Dacă aveţi sugestii,propuneri sau idei de colaborare, nu ezitaţi să ni le împărtăşiţi
        Reproducerea materialelor din această revistă sau a unor fragmente de materiale este permisă numai cu condiţia precizării sursei. Precizarea sursei se face strict după modelul: numele autorului, denumirea articolului, denumirea revistei, link-ul articolului, data, ora şi anul consultării site-ului - de exemplu - Bogdan Istrate, Avatarurile Sacrului, Europe’s Times and Unknown Waters nr.1, http:// Europe’s Times and Unknown Waters.com/1/editorial.html, consultat la data de 6 Martie 2009, 14:55 p.m. (tot acest exemplu se bazează pe nume şi titluri fictive) Orice fel de citare care nu respectă acest protocol se va consemna şi pedepsi conform legilor în vigoare privind copy-right-ul.

        The cultural project Europe’s times and unknown waters will appear for the moment, only online. Should you want to print the materials, you can do it individually (if you are interested in one particular subject discussed by us), by copy-pasting it in Word, or if you want the entire collection of texts and images you may download the entire pdf attached to that particular magazine number [insert link to pdf]..
        Europe’s times and unknown waters is an independent magazine that publishes materials in the following fields: poetry, prose, philosophy, metal (preferably ranging from gothic-doom to black, but we also accept materials from other metal/rock branches, on the condition that they are original and well written), Irish Studies, Norse Culture (Scandinavia), film criticism, images, society, literary criticism, history, local writers(Cluj-Napoca), theatre and production, technology and science fiction.. We are open towards other original / interesting contributions no matters the field of activity or subject.
        For the authors:
        If you wish to publish in our magazine , please send your proposals to our chief- editor using the following e-mail: vader_wings2000@yahoo.com or ormenyfrancisc@yahoo.com, or on any of the other editors’ mails.
        Should there be any problems regarding the functioning of the site ( the opening of the page or loading of the diacritical marks), suggestions for the web design, proposals of collaboration between our site and other sites (reciprocal promotion of banners) or any other types of collaborations, please contact our web designer Ştefan-Matyus Ernest  at  ernest.stefan.matyus@gmail.com.
        Theoretically speaking there is no page number limitations to the materials (this being one of the advantages for an online magazine as opposed to a paper printed one) but we prefer them to be no shorter than a page and a half- two pages, and no longer than thirty pages. Of course, the quality and the stringent character of certain materials may generate room for exceptions.
        If possible please send materials without any footnotes- simply insert in the middle of the text a number between square brackets instead of the footnote number, and the fragment connected to the specific number in brackets should appear together with its corresponding number at the end of the text, together with an afferent bibliography. If you perceive the procedure to be too complicated or confusing , you may send the text in its initial format and we will take care of its adaptation. A requirement is that the texts written in Romanian must contain diacritical marks.
        The texts you send us will be independently analyzed and marked  (on the scale of 1-10) by our editors. The final mark (a minimum of 7,50 is required for a text to be published) will represent the average of all the marks, each individual mark having the same weight.
        We will answer all of your requests for publications as soon as possible, no matter if the response will be a positive or a negative one, together with a confirmation of the acceptance of your text or, should it be the case, with an explanation regarding the reason why your text has been rejected.
        The orthographical, taping, or expression mistakes from the accepted texts will be corrected by common agreement with the authors, in order to avoid the situations when they represent disguised figures of stile, subliminal messages – context in which an inappropriate correction may damage them.
        For professional but also for reciprocal acquaintance purposes, the authors are kindly asked to attach their curriculum vitae, or at least a short set of personal information such as age, location, studies, other published materials and a picture. If requested(by them), we re willing to publish their email below their texts so that the authors may be contacted by those who read their materials.
        The texts will be published in their corresponding theme section no matter the language they are written in. Aside the texts written in Romanian and English we also accept texts written in French and German - with the mentioning, for their authors, that it will take us longer to analyze the texts, as assistance from linguistic specialists outside the members of the magazine will be required, for purposes of adequacy and professionalism.
        We also accept texts written in other languages than those mentioned above, on condition that they are accompanied by a concurrent translation in Romanian or English, and an official declaration of the author, confirming that the text and its translation are one and the same material.

        The reproduction of materials or fragments of materials in this magazine is permitted only with the condition that the source be stated after the model:  the name of the author; the name of the article; the link of the article; the hour, date and year of the consultation of the site.
